Hubble Disturbances
Animations showing responses to various disturbance signals
Disturbances such as micro meteorites, thermal flutter, and solar wind had to be taken into account when the Hubble was designed. Using the Agilent VEE software several signals were used as disturbance inputs in the Hubble simulation. The disturbances can be seen as the grey dots in the simulation. The rockets act to offset the disturbances. The gallery below contains animations generated by Agilent VEE software simulating the effects of various disturbance inputs.
